Dr. Vikas Mahatme (Born December 11, 1957)Founder Medical Director and the leader of TEAM MAHATME, is an eye surgeon.
Vikas Mahatme has established a Mahatme Eye Bank & Eye Hospital run by SMM Eye welfare Charitable trust & is a Govt. recognized Eye Bank with maximum corneal retrieval & usage in the Nagpur, Maharashtra, region. Eye Bank was started in 1987.
He has been honoured by the President of India, with the “Padma Shri” award for 2010.[1]
